The city of Hermiston, Oregon and Umatilla County have awarded management of the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center (EOTEC) to Iowa-based venue management company, VenuWorks. VenuWorks has significant experience managing the needs of multipurpose facilities serving community, regional, and national events.

“VenuWorks will be a great fit for EOTEC and for the Hermiston community. We are very pleased to welcome VenuWorks as the management firm for the facility,” stated city manager Byron Smith.

Following the commencement of the management agreement, VenuWorks conducted a national search and named Al Davis as General Manager of EOTEC. Davis, a 4-H leader and extension agent, relocated from Manhattan, Kansas where he served as President and CEO for Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership.
